Mostly Bali Talk
Back to school tomorrow! YAY!
I can’t wait! Miss Z is looking forward to it too.
And I am sick of the shopping centers, and local areas been taken over by the local yahoo’s. Even the petrol stations! Grrr
It makes me question myself what I was like when I was a high school kid. Was I really that immature? Did my friends and I really have no respect for anyone else but us? Were we really that small? (The kids these days are all so short!)
Maybe I am just getting old?

I had the BEST time. It was so much fun! All 8 of us had an awesome time. We did pretty much everything you can do, and more!

Our first day of adventures involved water sports! It was way better than I expected.
I had never been on a Banana Boat ride where your hooning along at goodness knows how fast holding on for your life, then the Boat Driver stopping to pick up rubbish from the side of sea! The four of us girls couldn’t stop laughing. I guess its one way to clean up Bali Sea??? We managed to stay on for the whole ride without falling off.
The boys on the other hand come back drenched, thanks to our little chat with the boat driver ;) He he he
I actually went Parasailing! Me!! I was scared at first (so scared I refused to do it), but then reluctantly at the last minute strapped myself in and off I went. Once I was up in the air, it was amazing. I had my first ride on a Jet Ski. I plan to save up and buy one now, coz it was sooo much fun.
I had this Balinese dude that took me on the jet ski singing Red Red Wine to me. I had to hold on, while trying to steer, accelerate and actually laughing my fricken ass off!!!
I asked him to sing me another song, and he blinked This day also included other random stuff, like snorkeling (so many pretty fish), a boat ride, a trip to Turtle Island… at me and started from the chorus again. “Red Red Wine”….

- Mr K high up in the skyDay 3 of our Adventure:
We went to the Bali Safari and Marine Park, and I held a 2 month old Lion cub. He was beautiful, and I wanted to take him home. Also the baby orangutans and I patted a white tiger.
We had a Jurassic Park style tour around the entire park. I was only meters away from Lions, tigers, hippopotamus’s and other random animals.
Our little tour cart got stuck on the gates, high up from the ground heading into the Tiger arena! Safari Park workers had to quickly run and try and open the gate that was caught. They looked pretty scared!
Day 4:
We went to the Monkey Forest.

I was able to sneak up to a new born monkey and pat it while its parents were having a snooze. It was soo cute! Here is where I learnt (and I think he suprised himself too) that Mr K is very afraid of monkeys! LOL... They just didnt like him. They were growling at him, and stalking him! It was very funny
Then headed on up to the Volcano. Words are not enough to describe the views…
Day 5:
Waterbomb Park was Da Bomb! ;) Newer and faster rides… but prepare for your knees to hurt because of all the damn stairs
Of course what would a holiday be without lots of shopping, massages alcohol (and there was lots and lots of that with a 24 hour pool bar baby!), pubs, clubs, and meeting new people? All that just goes without saying!
So many fuzzy memories ;)I am already planning my 4th trip back, and everyone is invited! :D
OH… I have to admit there was romance too. I managed to find True Love. Sad to say I had to leave my Love in Bali. Hopefully one day, my Sweet will make it over here to me… we’re we can be together forever... Sigh
